Description

The theme of the panel is Intersectionality! Or, how different social categories such as race, class, and gender (and more!) are all interconnected to make our lives a little more interesting, and a little more complicated than any one label could possibly represent. Although a lot of us fit under the LGBTQA umbrella, other aspects of one’s identity also determine how one lives in this world. For that reason, we are going to have a couple of guest speakers from other organizations share and talk with us about their own groups and politics.

ABOUT BLUS

We are a social, educational and cultural organization run by and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ ) students in Copenhagen and around. We welcome everyone to take part in our activities, regardless of occupation, age, sexual orientation and gender identity. Our main purpose is create a space where people can meet each other, learn things, and have an impact on what goes on.
